Only difference is that they have 3 levels less if I remember correctly because Rangers get em at level 4 and they also start being level 1 companions. I think rangers should get a war dog or hunting dog for their pets.Yeah, Ranger Animal Companions for normal level up with their masters just like those Companions the Druids have. Arti dog and druid wolf scales with the owner, and it think thats exactly what the op wants I think thats what the op's trying to get at.
